Reboni Saha

Born in Georgetown, British Guyana in 1968, traveled through many different cultures before moving to N.E. India with her family. Graduated in Industrial Design from National Institute of Design in 1994 – chosen on the basis of her two strengths – a creative nature, and a fascination for technology.

After training at Bosch-Siemens Hausgerate in Germany she set up base in Goa in 1995 as a freelance product designer for leading companies in Mumbai, Pune & Goa. In 2001 co-founded Mozaic http://www.mozaic.in/ with architect Dean D’Cruz to combine their creative energies for holistic solutions.

Examples of her successful design interventions have been the award winning Spa Taamra at Taj Exotica resort, Goa  ( Now Jiva Spa ), washing machine design for IFB industries, Skybus development and locomotive cab design, and retail design for Carl Zeiss Optics, India.

Some projects for social intervention are the moving school for migrant children, an improved Rickshaw design. Different facets of her work have featured in Business World India magazine, Inside Outside, Index Furniture Journal as well as CNBC India.
